Clinical Research Overland Park
Epiphany Dermatology of Kansas specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis and atopic dermatitis (eczema). Providing access to the best dermatologic care is our top priority. As part of this commitment, we offer free psoriasis treatment and free eczema treatment to patients who qualify to participate in our clinical research studies. Dr. McCune conducts research studies for effectiveness and safety for FDA approved medications and new investigational medications for both adult and pediatric eczema and psoriasis patients.
What are symptoms of psoriasis? Psoriasis is an inflammation in the skin that causes red, itchy and scaly lesions. The lesions usually appear on the knees, elbows, scalp, and lower back. Epiphany Dermatology of Kansas provides treatment options to help control psoriasis. We also offer psoriasis research trials where you can receive complimentary psoriasis treatment.
What are symptoms of eczema? Eczema or atopic dermatitis is a dry, itchy, and scaly rash. Eczema has a strong genetic component and typically presents in children before the age of 3. We provide eczema treatment in Kansas as well as atopic dermatitis research trials where adult and adolescent eczema treatment is provided free of charge to qualifying participants.
Participate in a Research Trial
Dr. McCune and his team have been conducting eczema and psoriasis research trials for over 20 years and have participated in 80 clinical research studies, treating psoriasis and eczema. Clinical research allows Dr. McCune and his team to provide cutting-edge treatment options for patients without insurance and patients who cannot afford expensive biologic medications. Providing complimentary psoriasis and eczema treatment is just one way we can give back to our community and provide access to the best dermatologic care.
Our Clinical Research Department is currently enrolling in multiple studies for both FDA approved medications as well as state of the art medications that are not commercially available that can help treat psoriasis and eczema.
If you have moderate to severe psoriasis or eczema, you may qualify for one of our studies. Qualified participants will receive study related medical examinations and investigational medications at no cost. Participants will also receive compensation for time and travel. Medical insurance is not required for study participation.
If you would like to learn more about our ongoing studies and see if you qualify for enrollment, please call or fill out one of the surveys below for an initial screening. A member of our team will contact you.
