Do you ever wish you had a magic wand to make fine lines and wrinkles vanish before your eyes? We have one! With our fractional laser, we can get rid of wrinkles with just the wave of a wand.
Myths: What WON’T Erase Your Wrinkles
Look on the shelves of any beauty store and you’ll see an array of products claiming to get rid of wrinkles. Beware of any product making a big promise, because the fact of the matter remains: topical oils and creams don’t have the same effect as procedures.

Everyone agrees that if you stimulate collagen, you’ll see a difference in the skin. The problem is getting a product into the skin. Whatever the product, if it’s something you add on top of your skin, it won’t penetrate to the level necessary needed to make a difference.
The lasers and heating devices we use in the office work because they deliver more energy to the cells than any cream can. Sure, eye creams can work in conjunction with laser therapy but they’ll never replace it. If you have an eye cream you like, consider using it as a supplement, but don’t expect it to fix the problem.
How Does Fractional Laser Treatment Work?
The key to minimizing those unsightly lines is to penetrate the skin deeply enough to make a difference. Fractional laser resurfacing allows us to do just that. It uses a laser to poke little holes in the skin that stimulate collagen production. And more collagen equals fewer lines, as it works to repair and heal the skin.
The collagen also works in conjunction with the heat of the laser to tighten the skin. By doing a series of treatments (over about four weeks), we keep that collagen generation going. Over time, you’ll see repaired skin, both tighter and smoother.

What Can I Expect from Fractional Laser Treatment?
Prior to your first treatment, you will meet with a technician for a consultation. They will explain how the fractional laser works, how many treatments you will need, and your medication options.
Because the fractional laser goes pretty deep, it can be uncomfortable. For this reason, we like to give medication for pain and relaxation. If you agree to these medications, you will need someone to drive you home after each procedure. Prior to each appointment, we also recommend applying a topical numbing cream to a clean face. These preventative pain measures will greatly diminish your discomfort.
If you’re serious about changing the bags under your eyes or eliminating certain lines altogether, save your money and invest in the procedure that makes a visible difference. Contact us to schedule a fractional laser consultation.
