Dr. Justin Bandino is board-certified in both dermatology and dermatopathology. He specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer, as well as other disorders of the skin, hair, and nails. He provides expert, full-spectrum care in medical and surgical dermatology for patients of all ages and skin conditions. His formal education and training include:

Dr. Bandino served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force before becoming a dermatologist. After fellowship, he returned to the military dermatology residency program and served as Academic Director, Lab Director, Medical Director, and Program Director. Dr. Bandino currently serves as an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD.
Dr. Bandino has published numerous manuscripts in peer-reviewed national and international journals, he has authored book chapters, and he has served as manuscript reviewer and Special Editor for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD). He has also been an invited speaker at regional, national, and international conferences, and has served on various committees in national organizations.
Dr. Bandino is a lifetime member and former President of the Association of Military Dermatologists (AMD). He is also a member of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), the American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP), and the Texas Dermatological Society (TDS), amongst others.
In his spare time, Dr. Bandino enjoys traveling, triathlons, coffee, and spending time with his wife and children.
